Andrassy Apartment Budapest was fully refurbished in 2010 to the highest standard. The apartment has 2 bedrooms (a large double bed in the master bedroom and 2 single beds that can be pushed together in the and a spacious sitting room with a roamtic fire place and a fully equipped, modern kitchen.

It is situated on the top floor of beautiful period building. There is a lift in the building and the apartment is facing south into the courtyard which makes it nice and sunny and very quiet, even though it is right in the centre of the city. With the two extra beds in the sitting room, the apartment can accommodate up to 6 people comfortably.

The modern kitchen is equipped with a microwave, large fridge, dish washer, toaster and there is even a Nespresso coffee machine. In the sitting room we have a big, flat screen TV with a blueray DVD player and many movies.

There is a Costa Coffee, a bank, a store that is open 24/7 and a sightseeing tour operator in our apartment building. This is truely the perfect location for a holiday home, apartment for visitors to Budapest.

The location of the apartment - Andrássy Avenue

Andrássy Avenue is the Champs-Élysées of Budapest and was declared a World Heritage Site. It is the most prestigious street in Budapest accommodating many of the luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Armani.

At the beginning of the Avenue you will find the St Stephen's Basilica, the biggest cathedral in the country and Deak square, where all 3 Budapest undergrounds meet. Our apartment is on the top floor of the very first house on Andrássy Avenue, walking distance from the Opera House and Liszt Ferenc square with its restaurants and bars.

The end of Andrássy Avenue is just a few stops away on the Metro, the oldest underground on the continent, (or 30 minutes walk) where you will find the famous Heroes' Square, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Art Hall (Műcsarnok) and the City Park with the Széchenyi thermal bath, the Vajdahunyad Castle and the zoo.
