Fab host, excellent apartment and location

Myself and my boyfriend spent 3 lovely days in Budapest staying at this lovely apartment. It had everything we could have wanted. It is beautifully furnished, was perfectly clean and the location was fabulous too. Reliable transfer arranged by the owner both to and from the apartment and the owner was there to meet us and show us around the apartment and available throughout our stay via phone if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend and I am very fussy with accommodation standards! Thanks Eva, we look forward to seeing you again....

PERFECT...Quiet, lovely and well located

This flat is very, very lovely and very quiet. There 's evreything we need, and all equipement are good quality. It's easy to walk to the main monuments. We had a very nice stay. Eva is very helpfull, she does her best to help you during your your stay.

A Home From Home In Budapest

We stayed for 3 weeks in this lovely apartment on our recent trip to Budapest, a home from home with everything you might need. It is very centrally located at the start of Andrassy and proved to be a great base for heading out to explore the city. Weather while we were in Budapest was lovely and warm sometimes too warm but the aircon made the apartment very relaxing and comfortable. Full kitchen and everything you might need should you decide to cook but to be honest there are so many lovely restaurants in the area you may not find need to.

From start to finish on our trip communication with Eva was excellent and even when we decided that some of our clothes deserved a longer stay. I swear we had everything packed lol, Eva contacted me and sorted it all out.

I would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a home from home while travelling. and we hope to get back to stay again.

Perfect apartment at great location

The beautiful apartment is very newly renovated and looks exactly like the photos online. The location can't be better for sightseeing and transportation, yet the apartment is very quiet. The restaurant in the same building (Lugash) is absolutely wonderful. There is also a great coffee shop (Costa) and a 24-hour grocery store. We couldn't have hoped for anything better. At 90 EUR per night, this was a steal.

A Hungarian Rhapsody!

Our family of 4 spent three nights in this ideally situated flat which was, in a word, perfect. Very modern and tastefully decorated, no inch was left unused with hidden beds, cleverly stored, sleek lines for the well stocked kitchen, individual climate control for each room, iron, dryer rack, washer all available. Flat screen TV with a huge DVD library of the latest movies made us want to stay up late and watch them all! A nice touch was the refrigerated beverages already waiting for us in the fridge on a hot arrival day. Plenty of towels provided. Kitchen has tea and coffee machine, microwave and oven, dishwasher- absolutely flawless. Eva met us on the street and escorted us up and called a taxi for us to the airport at the end of our stay. All very reasonably priced. We could not have asked for anything more. Thank you- we hope to be back!!

Spot on

The apartment was exactly as described and had everything we required, no disappointments it was really spot on. Very central, quiet, characterful building, modern converted apartment. Clean, well-equipped, friendly welcome.

A fantastic holiday in an excellent apartment

Just returned from a wonderful stay in these apartments in Budapest. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Pest so it made for the perfect base for getting around the city to see all the sights. Despite being located so centrally we experienced no noise at night while sleeping. My three children ages 6-11 all fitted comfortably in the accommodation with my husband and I. Communication and any advice about travelling around the city was also available should it be required. A truly enjoyable holiday made all the more so be having such a smooth experience with our accommodation and transport transfers from the also wonderful Green Gates Guest house.

Great Apartment

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. We went as a group of 4 and it was more than comfortable and spacious for us all to relax and socialise.
The images on this website are a clear representation to what the apartment was like. Everything was there for us and more than we could have wished in terms of kitchen utensils, ipod dock, blu ray player with blu rays.
It is in an old building but our security was more than adequate. Top floor of the building, a locked gate between us and the floors below and multiple strong locks on the door.
Would recommend this to anyone accept if you have mobility issues as lights going up the steps at night are lacking/non existent.
However if I was going back, I would be more than happy to use this apartment again.

Central location and luxury comforts

I visited Budapest to celebrate New Years and see the city with 4 friends. The apartment is in a great location for tourists without being loud or noisy from the hustle of the city. The apartment is not spacious but it is very cosy and we all felt comfortable. We enjoyed the well equipped kitchen, the flat screen TV and Blu-ray and the warmth of the fireplace. The host Eva was very friendly and easy going (when one of us set off the alarm system for the entire house by accident, it was not a major incident.)

Wonderful vacation in Budapest

My family had the perfect week in this lovely apartment end of October. It is very central, but at the same time so quiet. There are theaters, many restaurants and shops in walking distance and the underground stops in front of the building.
The apartment is very clean and finished to a very high standard. We particularly liked the modern kitchen, romantic fireplace and all the TV&DVD; accessories together with free Wi-Fi.

Our host, Eva was very kind. She organised the airport transfer for us, told us all we needed to know about the apartment and gave us good insider tips about what to see and where to eat. Thanks again for you hospitality!!!

Budapest is a fantastic city and I can highly recommend it even with small children. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend it.

Amazing apartment in Perfect Location

My husband and I absolutely loved this apartment. We spent the days exploring beautiful Budapest and enjoyed coming home to a luxurious and comfortable apartment in a prime location. We really enjoyed the top notch amenities, including the Blu-ray player and movie collection. It was definitely the best choice for us and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest. A great base for an excellant holiday

The location of the apartment is perfect - right in the heart of Pest. Great access to shops, tourist attractions and transport system - metro station outside front door, but never even heard a rumble from the trains.
Accomodation was excellent, finished to very high standard, and full of amenities - dishwasher, washing machine, ironing board etc (even has a bluray dvd c/w large sellection of titles, and an ipod docking station).
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend it.

Fab time in Budapest summer 2010

Our stay in this apartment was perfect, our first time in Budapest and were so lucky to choose this beautiful apartment! Location is just so central just a stone throw away from the river and parks and all sightseeing and there is so much to see in Budapest. We stayed for 3 weeks and loved every minute of it! The apartment is very quite for being located on local "Bond Street" and walking distance from everything you ever would want to see in Budapest!
We would highly recommend this!

Great location and beautifully finished modern apartment.

My three friends and I loved staying in this apartment. The location is perfect for public transportation and for seeing all the sights of the city. It is within easy walking distance of lots of sights and great places to eat. The apartment is in an old beautiful building but has been refinished to be very modern. It is on a busy street but looks out over a courtyard so it is very quiet. Everything in the apartment was clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the very soft towels. The kitchen has everything you need to cook including an espresso maker. We also appreciated the i-pod docking station and washing machine. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone going to Budapest!

Beautiful apartment

The apartment was really beautiful. The location was perfect: the underground in front of the building and the Basilica and the Opera House just a few minutes walk away. We had everything we needed for a great holiday in Budapest.

The apartment was newly refurbished and we must have been one of the first guests after the renovation. Everything was new and to the highest standard, the kitchen was great and loved the Nespresso machine. It was 34C outside, but the apartment had air-condition in every room so it was perfect. Even though we were so central, we could never hear any noise from outside.

Thanks Eva for the very warm welcome and for the insider tips!!! See you soon!!! Budapest we miss you already.

Perfect location in the city centre of Budapest

The family had the perfect week in this lovely apartment. It is so central, but at the same time so quiet. There are many restaurants and shops in walking distance and the underground stops in front of the building.

The apartment was very clean and finished to a very high standard. We particularly liked the romantic fireplace, the modern kitchen with the Nespresso machine (really makes the difference in the morning) and the iPhone docking station.
