The Opera Mezzanine Apartment is our 4th apartment in this beautiful building next to the Opera House, in the heart of Budapest. Surrounded by great restaurants, cafes and just off Andrassy Avenue with its top brands, this luxury 2 bedroom holiday home offers the perfect location for a city break to Hungary's capital.

This modern apartment can accommodate up to 5 people in 2 double bedrooms, where the second bedroom is on the mezzanine (hence the name of the apartment). There is a comfortable sofabed in the open plan living room for a 5th guest. There is a fully equipped kitchen in the apartment and a modern bathroom with walk-in shower and a washing machine. The apartment is air-conditioned and we offer free, broadband Wi-Fi to our guests. The apartment is on the 3rd floor facing into the courtyard, which makes it very quiet. There is a lift in the building.

The location of the apartment - Hajós street - Budapest District VI

The Opera Mezzanine Apartment is situated on Hajos street in the 6th district of Budapest. Hajos street is the little street on the right of the Opera House, starting at Andrassy Avenue. Part of the street is for pedestrians only, so there is very little traffic here and you will find some very good restaurants and cafes in the neighbourhood.

The Opera underground station is just 2 minutes walking distance away from our holiday home on Andrassy Avenue. There you will also find all the top brand shops like Gucci, Burberry and Luis Vuitton. Many of the famous tourist attractions can be reached on foot including St Stephen's Basilica, the Chain Bridge, the Parliament and Deak Square, where all 3 Budapest undergrounds meet.

Arriving by train? If you arrive by train, you will most likely arrive to Keleti pu. (East Railway Station). The station is around a 10 minutes drive away from the apartment and there are a number of taxis usually parking outside the building. You can also get to the apartment with the underground. Take the red line (Metro 2) from Keleti pu towards Déli pu. until Deák Ferenc Tér (Deak Square). Change there to the yellow line (metro 1) towards Mexikói út and get off at the Opera (second stop from Deak Square). Our apartment building is in the little street right of the Opera Hosue.
