There are 3 main stations in Budapest: Keletei PU (East Station), Nyugati PU (West Station) and Déli PU (South Station). PU is short for pályaudvar and means station in Hungarian. All 3 stations are connected by the underground but there are plenty of taxis outside the stations. Here you can look at the time table of the trains.

Nyugati Pu is closest to our holiday apartments, but Keleti is also very close. Déli PU is on the Buda side and is a bit further away.

Taxis and airport transfer

We are offering a competitive airport transfer and the taxi company we are using is Volan Taxi. Call +36-1-4-3333-22 to order a taxi.

If you are arriving by train, there are plenty of taxis waiting at the trains station. Please, always ask the driver in advance how much it will cost. From Keleti or Nyugat PU (Train station) the cost should not be more than HUF 1500 (EUR 5-6).

Budapest Airport

Budapest AirportThere are 2 international airports in Budapest and they are very close to each other. The names have just changed from Ferihegy I and Ferihegy II to Liszt Ferenc Intenational Airport I and II. Most budget airlines will fly to Airport I, which is the older one.

The airports are just 16 km from the city centre and it takes 20-30 minutes to our apartments depending on traffic. We offer an airport transfer for our guests.
